Easy, Quick Treatment For Wrinkles, Fine Lines & More

We are delighted to announce that Sculptra is now available at Laserase Medical Skincare. Practitioners are amazed at the fantastic anti-ageing results of this non surgical 'liquid facelift'.

What is Sculptra & how does it work?

Sculptra is a collagen stimulator. By stimulating the production of your own facial collagen Sculptra reduces lines, wrinkles and folds and replaces fullness to your face that has been lost by ageing. Sculptra works gradually and gently to provide a natural and subtle result, and, once your treatment plan is complete, the results can last up to 3 years - significantly longer than other injectable treatments.

Possible Side Effects

The only possible side effects (that occur in less than 1% of patients) are: headaches, slight bruising, and some pain at the site of injection.

Preparation Guidlines

Aspirin and other anti-inflammatory medications should be avoided for two weeks before treatment to reduce the bruising that may occur.

There is no downtime after treatment. It’s completely impossible for others to know you’ve had a treatment, and remember the effects come on gradually. They’re not slow, just gradual enough that you don’t startle other people with your changed appearance.

In fact, you should simply look radiant and fresh—as if you’ve had a week of good sleep and no stress, like you’ve been on a fabulous vacation!

FAQ's

  • Where Is Botox Used?

As Botox blocks the nerve-to-muscle signal, the muscle where it is injected can no longer contract, which causes wrinkles to soften and relax away. Therefore, it is most often used on: Forehead Lines, Crow’s Feet (the lines around the eyes), Frown Lines (the parenthesis around the mouth) It’s important to note that wrinkles caused by sun damage and gravity will not readily respond to Botox.

  • What is a Botox Procedure Like?

This is one of the quickest and easiest of all cosmetic procedures. It involves no anaesthesia and takes only a few minutes to perform. The effects begin to show in just a few days, yet they last between 4 and 6 months. Follow-up treatments will extend the effects for longer periods of time however, so the treatment works out to be rather cost-effective in the long run.
