PDO Thread Lift

With time the face loses its structure, elasticity, volume and muscle mass. This causes decent of tissue, leading to jowling, marionette lines and Naso-labial folds. There are a number of ways to address these. More recently PDO threads have been used successfully to lift facial tissue, repositioning it, giving you a more youthful and fresh appearance.

What are PDO threads.

PDO (Polydioxanone) has been used for more than 40 years in surgical sutures. It has high tensile strength, and so can effectively lift skin tissue. As well as its lifting effect, over time it stimulates the production of collagen which improves volume and skin texture. Most PDO threads will have completely absorbed by 6 months, however the lifting effect can last up to 1-2 years.
